Sure.

First things first, great job on AAW for getting the fit right first time for me. I know there are horror stories of having to get customs refitted, so I'm glad I don't have to go through that. The advantages of customs are immediately apparent. Even though it has a sound port because it's a dynamic driver hybrid, the isolation is kinda insane. It's very comfortable, though I feel fine with regular IEMs anyway. One thing that really stood out to me though is the lack of bone conduction, so I don't hear my steps at all. With very little microphonics also I can see this becoming my go to sport headphones for sure.

Overall really great package, and if I have any criticisms it is that the purple is duller and not as red as I thought it would be, but it still looks fine with a nice shimmery effect, and that the cable feels really chintzy and plasticy, but that's mostly in looks and feel. It actually seems to be a pretty good cable generally.

I need to listen to it more to really make a judgement, but on first listen it's great. Great clarity without sounding thin, generally balanced with slightly more emphasis on the bass area. I would characterise it as a warm and smooth sound that still retains excellent detail throughout the midrange.

There is a metallic tinge compared to the Aurisonic harmony (which seems fairly common to hybrid designs), which for example results in splashier cymbals compared to the harmony, but then again I always thought the harmony was one of the best headphones I've heard when it comes to resolving the diffusion and decay of percussive instruments. Other than that though I thought the A3hpro's treble is generally fine, though certainly not the most refined treble I've heard.

Imaging is slightly more homogeneous compared to the harmony but again, I feel that it has really good imaging and soundstage for its price without factoring that it's a custom. Bass isn't as visceral impact and my preference would be slightly more sub and lower bass, but then again a lot of people would think this is bassy enough. Bass detail isn't as resolving as the harmony, but then again, I'm comparing it to an IEM which I think has some of the best bass out there. Also an IEM that costs twice as much as the A3Hpro even factoring the cost of getting impressions done and shipping.

So yeah, on sound alone, without factoring the price and the benefits of a custom vs universal, I'd say that the harmony wins. But the A3Hpro isn't really that far off, and considering the price I'd say that it's a pretty great way to introduce yourself to customs.

Those look really pretty! Enjoy bass heaven with the W500. Like you, I keep them on max bass setting for that delicious low-end thump. There's nothing quite like it in the IEM world!

Woah there, you can adjust the bass on the AAW 500? How? I must have missed that!

It's the W500 AHMorph, with a dial in each earpiece to adjust BA/dynamic driver emphasis. The regular W500 doesn't have it.

fit:  These are the most comfortable iem i have ever used, because i have sensitive skins.  Comply tips have always irritate my ears because it rub against my canal walls, after awhile it hurts.  Some silicone tips are better but i still cant use them long either.  These ciem just fits me perfectly without tips.  They are a big upgrade to any tips i have used. (ortofone, rha, jcv, trinity and a whole mess of others.)  AAW did a great job on these.

build:  These look amazing, glossy, shiny.  The picture speaks for themselves.

sound:
bass: the first 15 minutes, they were terrible, 1 dimension, flat.  So i left it burning for an hour on high of an e18.  After one hour, i put on some tiesto edm.  Man, the bass!!! I have never heard bass this good.  very detail, textured, punchy, hits hard like a hammer.  These are made for bassheads.  Sub bass is also excellent.

mids:  wow, adel was in the room, christina was in front of me.  heaven.

trebble: very good.  its on par with my dn2000.

If anyone is looking to spend $350.  These are the best out there.  They surpasses my dn2000, jvc fx850 in very way.  Considering they are customs, they are a bargain.

Glad to see you're loving yours. I don't actually have a lot of experience with iems in this price bracket, but felt it was pretty good for its price even not considering that it's a custom. Bass and mids are definitely its strong points. Not really basshead for me though, but my perceptions are skewed because the asg2.5 is my benchmark for basshead.

they get better and better. Without e18, it's very neutral off my iPhone. With e18 amp with bass boostb on, they pound hard. Treble is very good when compare to everything but dn2k, but still excellent. I don't know if I will get a universal ever again.

I actually have the amorph and can see the screw with red and blue dots as markers. Guessing that red increases bass and blue decreases it.

Guess what, I emailed AAW about this earlier bcos I had a bit of confusion as well. I would also guess red increases bass (red=warmer), but customer service informed me that the blue dot is in fact full hybrid mode (and max bass effectively) whereas the red dot is full BA mode (min bass). What I noticed, is that turning the dial towards the red dot tends to increase the volume as well, so judging whether it has the most bass or not is tougher bcos of the overall increased volume. Even with this knowledge, after tinkering for a few days my sound preference is blue dot all the way haha.
