Today is 1st April = April fool for AK 480 hahaha :D

On the spec stated 4G LTE , that's mean have SIM card

I don't think AK want launching with SIM card

IMO

Korea and states have the most well implemented coverage of 4G..and Koreans love their high speed mobility..with iRiver pushing the boundaries of daps... It could make sense...???

  Oh very funny: "future-proof DAC"

What's so funny about it?

It's the latest in quantum theory.

It sends the bits of data a few milliseconds into the future before computing it. It's a type of negative feedback in where the bits from a few ms past are quantumly sent to the very near future and used as negative feedback as a correctional path. This allows you to add multiple sonic bits of multiple operational amplifiers and use them as different feedback mechanisms into the main output buffer on the AK480.

It's pretty ingeniuous if you ask me.

LOL....The only end-game thing here is your bank accounts when the "next generation" AK unit comes out a few months to a year later. AK960 that'll cost $10,000, yeah?

Anyways...Y'all enjoy your unicorn player.

Purk the Abyss + LAu wipes the floor compared to the SR-009 and BHSE.

Maybe the AK960 will be able to drive Stax SR009.  I won't buy the LAu.....here waiting for a liquid platinum!

It's a lottery, not pre-order.

It may well have been mentioned before today, but I struggle to believe in a 1. Apr announcement and on such a thing having been developed to just end up being a limited production product limited to the members of a single forum!? Naaah :)
