Those Valkyries are commonly described as (angels of) light in a world/time of darkness. I'd imagine this was taken into consideration given the Valhalla is a tube amplifier!

Considering the time and thought that Jason's chapter on Fulla had, I just think they're having fun with the names.

I've not actually read the chapter on the Fulla but if they do come up with a new portable battery based amp (and/or DAC), potentially a fair bit larger than the Fulla as has been requested by many people here lately, I hope they call it Sleipnir.

Yes, and Jason seemed pretty delighted about it when he announced it in his 2015 Chapter 20 episode.  I'm wondering how much this current feedback differential topology falls within the 'transconductive' or 'current mode' amp category, since that is something that I favor because of its rapid response, clarity and low TIMD capabilities.  I assume, tho, that the JFET inputs were retained and not reverted back to BJTs when the Hawksford linearization circuit was abandoned.
 
A speaker amp to complement (supplant?) the Ragnarok would seem the next logical evolutionary step, such as he alluded to in his Ch. 20 announcement.

Jason I believe mentiones a smaller size for Fulla but because of what it is named I am counting it in with the Small Schiit.

i)      I am putting these together because they commonly go together

i)      Son of Odin and a giantess

So names don’t appear to be random and seem to have some reason behind them but Schiit would have to elaborate more on this or prove me wrong and it could be a dartboard and someone is just really good with darts.

I would have been tempted to go for the headline "Schiit's Jason Stoddard Files Chapter 11," but good on Head-Fi for not going for the cheap joke.
