Gah! Congratulations to those who got the last of the Bushmills. Sad to have missed out

I woke up the morning of November 8th to that email from 4OurEars saying that they had a few dozen "found stock." Couldn’t have tapped on “Buy” fast enough on my iPhone. Been wanting for a pair ever since they were initially announced in 2014.
Now, two weeks later, I finally finished reading through this enjoyable thread. All while listening to my Bushmills. I’m currently listening with the EarZonks G-cush from Amazon. Like KeithG, l’m also wondering if the authentic G-cush will sound better. They’re a close second to the Grado L-bowls for me. Compared to the Grado L-bowls, the EarZonks G-cush has stronger bass, mids are recessed and the highs shine a little brighter.
Settled back on the yellow Sennheiser pads which work best for me. I have a spare pair so I might try the 'quarter' mod, though it will be a £1 coin for me here.
Will have to find/order some yellow Senn pads. Haven't used those pads since my HD414's crapped out over 15 years ago!
Hi. The bushmills are back at 4ourears.
Picked up my first pair of Bushmills from IndieGradoFan. I like these Bushmills. I didn't really know what to expect as I was not too familiar with this specific headphone. Just showed up in the classifieds and I knew it was rare to find one so I snatched it up. I might get around to playing around with other pads or the quarter mod, but for now the yellow pads are going to be it.
In my limited Grado experience, I place them somewhere like this for my preferences: PS1K > GH-1 > PS500 > HF2 > Bushmills > SR80 pink drivers > 225i/e > SR80e
Would like to eventually get the HF-2 and GH-1 back in the rotation, but I can see these Bushmills getting a lot of Summer work out in the backyard enjoying a BBQ in a nice lounge chair.
