HD700 for 434.82 Amazon Deals

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0070U8KSM/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

CCC has this as lowest price, probably the one I returned last week.
It's not. It was $390 at one point a month or two ago.

E: And you were the one to purchase it at the 396.88 price point. lol

Same with this. Was $260-ish earlier last week.

Apparently my ccc is completely wrong, not sure why, usually it's 100% accurate. I deleted the posts.

The $390 was the blink of an eye.

Sometimes we bandy numbers around as if any tom, dick and harry can get those prices all day long.  It distorts reality in my opinion.

Agreed.  The X1 was $150 for half a day in Feb 2014 and people are STILL like "Well $170 is good, but it was $150 before..."  lol

If any tom, dick and harry can get those prices all day long, then it's not a "deal" now is it? Kinda defeats the purpose of this thread.

E: And I do get where you're coming from, but it's not like I'm quoting numbers that are years ago. The 390 "number" was recent and before that, Senn was clearing house on their outlet store where the HD700s were close to $300. It's a recent reference point.

Massdrop has the Creative Aurvana Live! and E1 for $55 shipped.  The original CAL! is a really really good headphone for the price.  At $50 it's a no-brainer (I got mine for $50 on Black Friday and I'm still laughing at the bargain).  Remember it's got those bio-cellulose Fostex drivers or whatever.  The build is super cheap but the sound is great.  I'll be recommending this to some of my friends at work who are looking to get a decent pair of headphones on the cheap.

The E1 is just a bonus IMO.

Adding the E1 is an additional $32.

I just realized that you meant you actually have to pay an additional $32 for the E1.  Oh well, $55 shipped for the CAL! is still a really good price.

That represents a $3 savings vs Amazon's current buy box price.

Get it in two days or wait a month and save $3?

That was a good point to make. Some times it's easy to get caught up in the "deal," and not realize the advantage of an alternative that is only a small percentage more.

After all, who really likes to wait a few weeks to get a new set of headphones they have ordered. I always want mine NOW :dt880smile:

It's a valid heads up. No need to make it what it isn't, I'd be disappointed if I bought it from mdrop to realize it was in Amazon prime for essentially the same price. Plus being in one of the many same - day cities for shipping I can order it at 11am and it'd be in my hands the same day for free.

For me in Hawaii its 3 weeks for massdrop stuff, $3 more from Amazon and I get it in 2-3 days is a bargain to me.

Wow, I didn't see this price drop.  The cheapest I've seen it on Amazon besides BF was about $75.  Thanks for the heads-up.

Well to be fair, $3 on a $55 item is still a decent percentage.  The difference goes up if you have to pay tax and/or don't have Prime.  CA tax is another almost 10% tacked on...
