The new offical leather case from calyx looks really precious - for my taste much better as the minerva brown italian leather case from eBay.

I won't go so far as to say that it even looks better than the Dignis but it does look very good. (The Dignis is gorgeous. I know; I have it.)

It does not appear though that the official case protects the front or back of the M, i.e. it seems to be primarily ornamental. The Dignis offers excellent protection of both front and back but adds a bit of thickness to do so. It depends on what you want.

for me there is no need to protect the screen - my "old" samsung galaxy s2 , also with gorilla glas, with a case from "case mate" without front cover protection has not a single scratch after nearly three years of usage.
i only like the brown color of the dignis case, but those types of cases carry on too thick and are cumbersome to gain access to the screen.

Any K3003 owners here? How does clayx pair with K3003?

I must admit I have gotten around to this pairing yet. Let try this over the next day or so. :)

I meant I haven't. Oops

I have been meaning to get the K3003 for a long time. I think I might cave in. The more I read about CIEM the more confused I get. I might get e fitear some day, when they are much easier to be purchased from overseas market.

Any quick input is more than appreciated.

Calyx will also sell the official leather case along with the player, not sure about price.

They are still working on firmware to improve battery life.

Not include as a free item, but sell along with the player. So dealers should have both the player and the cover in stock, you just pay extra for the cover and may buy the two together. Like an optional.

Is it possible to play randomly tracks from the complete library with the cxM (like the DX90 does) ?
I was not even able to select multiple tracks in the library - no checkboxes - for moving them to a playlist or jukebox.

Ok. I have now heard the pairing.

I don't know what you know about then AKG K3003. Two thing you should know about it: firstly, it is pretty difficult to drive; secondly, the sig tends more towards the brighter end of the spectrum.

Paired with the Calyx M, it seems to add on a bit of weight while sounding a little less bright. I find the high impedance setting works best.

Piano sounds good. Acoustic vocals as well. Buble sounds good too. Listening to Lee Ritenour's A Twist of Jobim works well for me.

Hope that quick listen helps. :)

I'm confused right now ... should I get Beyerdynamic T90 or Sennheiser HD700 or Sennhesier Momentum. Right now have access to AKG K701 (which paired great with Calyx M) and Sennheiser HD650 (haven't try with Calyx M yet).
Appreciate any suggestion :D
