Not that disturbing since the volume control is sensitive enough , and its easy to reach. So its not that hard to actually do it
How extensive is the EQ on the DX50? I like to increase the sub-bass a little for my bass-light headphones, so on the DX50 can you bump up frequencies 40 and below?
My experience with the 30 hz band is to minimize it to -6. It clears up the sound on everything else. Maybe boost 180 or 330 hz, but no sense using the 30hz for any type of headphone/earphone. Every single test I've done, minimizing the 30hz band has improved the sound of everything else. Even techno tracks seem to have a bit more thump with it all the way down.
Hi !
I listen to my music in this way: Artist> Album> track
does dx50 have this kind of sorting?
I have few questions from some one in Vancouver (or anywhere in Canada) that already has dx50. is there anybody out there?
thanks
The 30hz band includes those near to it, which means probably 40-80hz. Reducing it will only decrease your sub-bass rumble, which the above user wants to increase.
Listening to Junior Wells album "Come on in this House" with the DX50 + T1 and Dunu DN1000. I couldn't be happier. Between Junior and Buddy, I've got a nice day ahead.
Thanks for your input and concern but I've already sent a DX50 in once for refund. The second one sent to me was even more problematic then the first. I've since moved on to the AK120 due to all the card scanning and player lock up problems I was experiencing and what I now want is a refund not an exchange. I'm tired of all the back and forth with iBasso and just want to be free of the problems I've experienced. When I originally asked for the refund I asked if I should pull the battery like I did when I sent in my original unit for refund and they indicated not to bother and send the unit back whole. I now highly doubt that after all that's been said between me and iBasso they ever will agree to refund me. As it is, I've grown quite tired of them and their refund/exchange practices as well as wasting evening after evening trying to troubleshoot a player that refuses to completely scan my card or even run 90 minutes before locking up and forcing me to restart it. I'm now stuck with a 240 dollar paper weight because of all this. Live and learn I guess. Originally I wasn't going to say anything and I've kept an eye on this thread only in order to keep tabs on a new FW update that hopefully will solve my card scanning/player freezing problems. I only voiced my experience so others know what can happen. In hindsight, I should have never bought the DX50. All I'm trying to say with my last post and this post is if you have any troubles with your DX50 don't waste any time trying to troubleshoot it but instead send it back immediately.
Carry on friends, don't mind me and my bad luck. Maybe down the road a future FW update will fix my card scanning and player lock up problems. Crazier things have happened after all.

Mannnn... The extreme polarity of the impressions on these is making me jump on the bandwagon only to jump off and abandon ship.... Them slowly crawl back on....
