There goes my mint condition DX50...

Dropped it today... A little sore on the edges with some loss of colour...

At least it is working perfectly...

If I only had one of those not-yet-available silicone cases... Even a pink one would have saved it...

Don't worry, mine is beat up too! Dog got to it.

I definitely get more than 5 hours, but it's still a far cry from the advertised 14 or so hours. Listening on high gain at about 130-5 volume

That is pretty bad - it ticks all of the boxes for me except this, and it is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they can continue refining this until it is close to the 14 hours.

So I wasn't dreaming then as far as the battery is concerned. It really stinks, they better address this issue I just don't want to keep charging the dap or worse, letting it hooked to the electrical plug full time. It really got down to from at least 7 to 8 hours to now 5 to 6 hours at the most.

I'm going to try and run it down completely. Hopefully it's just a gauge error. I've had mine running for about 8hours+ now and it still isn't dead..
