nobody else noticing the reverberation on the mids?? 
 
take a trumpet, for example out of a miles recording.. it DOES make the sound spacious and contrasts nice with the otherwise crisp and tight sound (bass and treble), but if you compare with other fws., especially 1.2.2. it "blurs" the mids.
 
still, i agree that it sounds great, the overall sound of this fw is imo the best so far..

That's either an uber sensitive iem or you have a supersonic ear. Anything below 170 to me even on a quiet room is a whisper using a JH16

I meant decibels. 60-80 decibels with peaks of up to 90. That means anywhere from 90-200 volume, but usually not above 150 or so.

I got a 4400mA battery. I use a piece of tape to hold it in place. Doesn't make the DX50 that much thicker, well, one battery thicker and twice the run time. Also if the batteries are hooked in parallel, which they have to be, the resistance would be less, which could improve sound quality. I am using an Anker battery as I find their customer service and products to be first rate.

It is on Amazon under Anker batteries. The extended mA 4400 for the Galaxy SIII. The back plate will not work of course. I wish an aftermarket company would make a plate for a larger capacity battery on the DX50 and it would work for the DX90 as well. I check the clearance and there is just enough that a back would slide off and then pull straight out from the body. The DX50 still remains small with the extra capacity battery. With some daps getting large "again", I am finding the size of the DX50 and the DX90 (using the same case) to be refreshing.

Look at mugen power batteries.  They are a good quality battery, Japanese cells.  They make a slightly larger batter that is the same thickness as stock, and they also make a much larger battery.

At 90 dollars for a higher capacity battery they should be good. Too expensive for me.

BTW, I would like to know precisely how many millimetres thicker the Anker 4400mah is than the standard Samsung S3 battery.
 
Amazing how many customers have offered opinions/feedback on the Anker battery, without a single one (that I've noticed) bothering to mention something so obvious as the exact difference in size!
