Hi there !

Thank you for keeping up the DX50 firmware downloads guys :)
But, have you also stored the DX50 driver for Windows ? I've just reinstalled my OS and i can't download it from the official website, which seems to be down...

Thank you !

Not sure, but I think ibasso may have let their domain expire. How crappy would that be for someone who sells direct? How many sells are they loosing each day? If they are not back up soon, they'll loose my business.

Great!

I've managed to modify the android configuration of rockbox for building a jni-independent executable, not a library; it even draws a logo before crashing :)
I believe that rockbox org is the most suitable place for discussing this port, there is a thread there at 'new ports' section describing the current status.

No, the spike is in the middle of the song...heard it with K10 at 180 at low gain....and then it goes to full volume suddenly (..ouch...)
I flashed it now and try the same album again....

Make sure that your tags are in order AND that there are no rogue files on the card, as described in the FAQ. That should help

BTW: Ibasso has ****ty hosting; or rather, their hosting provider has a ****ty connection. That's why I help host the firmwares.

I guess that could trigger the sudden vol peak. have to say that ALL my files are well tagged, i use to have like this due the amount files i have and to show them right in the squeezebox server. So on the dx50 even i browse the tracks, they show beautifully.
Also the 32gb micro sd is Exfat and have nothing but music (maybe 2 or 3 system folders)

T1000, could you tell us if this could be the cause of the sound peaks?

I think you are right, I was going to buy the site name but changed my mind. :D

Initially I thought maybe they were updating the site for the DX90 sales but after a few days I concluded something else happened, then I got site name for sale.

Have >60gb flac images with .cue. 128GB SD flash drive. Use DAP every day. Never had a reboot or freeze or something else. Used firmware 1.2.7 and 1.2.8

Are you browsing the music by file or library view? SD adapter or USB OTG?

I use browsing by both ways, as appropriate. SD adapter from dx.com for 5$. SD card SCT class10, from amazon for 75$(most cheap). File system fat32, formated on linux by mkfs.vfat, without additional options. When i formatted card on windows by cli tool fat32format (or similar by name) - then browsing on DAP and on PC was very very slow... When i formatted by mkfs.vfat - all became OK.

Interesting to note all the people mentioning they have volume jumps / spikes with what seems to be unusually frequently.  I have a unit from batch 5 and experienced all sorts of other issues that have all been resolved, but have never experienced any volume spike issues.  I don't use an external amp, so am always adjusting volume on the DX50 itself, and it the thing pretty heavily during each week.  On firmware 1.2.8 now, but haven't experienced this version on any previous firmware version either.

I'm actually fresh out of issues to report with my dx50, been performing flawlessly once I figured out its quirks.  It's always firmly attached to my belt everywhere I go :)

I had the volume go up twice but I realized the Dx50 was not locked and I had accidentally moved the volume up. Hasn't happened since and that was a long time ago.
