You guys think there'll be a new official firmware release soon?

Regards

Some members have emailed iBasso and they said to expect new firmware in a couple of weeks. I don't think it will be that soon however.

So I was finally able to get the DAC functionality working with 1.0 drivers, but it still can't replace my old iBasso D10 (which just died.)  That thing just worked for all sound. From what I gathered with my searching, the delay problem has no resolution yet, correct?

Sure, for music, the DX50 is great, but for anything else, the delay is ridiculous.  ASIO and manual delay settings aren't really an option because not all apps support that.  Ideally, I'd like a USB DAC that works across the entire system.

Anyone had luck with a solution for the audio delay or are we stuck waiting again?

I have that there are some programs that can be used to adjust for the delay. Also I just got the iBasso DZero Mk2 and the sound is excellent. I can't believe the price and what you get. Two internal dace and an opamp and buffer amp, excellent sounding and plug and play.

SU updates.

1.3.6_beta "unhified" edition :)
 - fully 1.3.3 version but a 'hifidevice' service is disabled.
The boring sound signature! Enjoy :)

SU 1.3.3 @ FLAC/irr OFF/CPU default > SU 1.3.6_beta @ FLAC/irr OFF/CPU 312 > SU 1.3.6_beta @ FLAC/irr OFF/CPU default

SU 1.3.6_beta @ FLAC/irr OFF/CPU 312 felt somehow too "boomy" regarding bass department.

Still staying with SU 1.3.3

The new firmware 1.6 is out!

http://ibasso.com/download.php

Code:
Improvements with this firmware: 1. Playlist import and export functions added. 2. support M3U playlist. 3, L/R balance control function added.

Great! I hope Dmitry does exactly same tweaks to it as with SU 1.3.3. L/R balance will be useful for many ppl. Personally do not care about playlist stuff.

But who has tried this new FW? How is it? How does it compare to 1.5.0 ?

Probably also means we're going to get a new slew of Doc's firmwares as well, which can only be a good thing. :)
