I just re-read your review of them. Damn - very hard to resist. I'm not sure that I can! But, I would have to sell my M500's. I get the feeling that you don't think that I'd miss them terribly. And you obviously think the sound better than the 90's that I'm still very happy with. Hmmm!

They are definitely a cut about the 90s...and way more comfortable on my head.

Darn it, boys...I picked up one of those puppies. Like subbuy, I couldn't pass up that sale price. I really hope I dig these. I'm a bit worried about the treble as my ears are starting to get pretty sensitive to really pronounced treble. :eek:

If you are talking about the T51Ps then those are not bright headphones so you should be fine.

So happy with my hp50's...I really didn't feel the need for the T51p's but couldn't pass up the price

I'm chillin out with my SRH-1540's myself...
 
They are really all that portable but that hasn't stopped me from walking around the streets with them.
 
I have to admit though I actually enjoy my Momentum on ears almost as much and will enjoy my K545 when it comes back home in a couple of weeks.
 
So ya, crazy addiction we have here LOL.

You are a braver man than I to walk the streets with the 1540's lol! That would be like me walking around with my X1's or AD900X's. Nope, ain't gonna happen! I'm hoping that the T51P's are small enough and cool enough for me to overcome my insecurities. If I look as cool as this guy, then.... I'll be very metrosexual looking indeed:
 

 
Regarding the addiction, you should put the final stamp on yours and get the T51P's! Oops, I just looked at ncix.ca and they have gone back up to $339 from the $199 that I got them for. So your final stamp of addiction may have to wait.

The K545 are good for chilling out :). Look forward to hearing your thoughts on them.

I am enjoying the 1540 but have to admit I have got to a point where I almost prefer a more laid back signature versus focusing on detail. But I like having both types too.
