Hmm I tried that, but I don't really like it being so tight around my face, so I'll stick to the earguides. But thanks anyway for the tip!

out of curiosity, which one would be closer to the westone 3? the VSD3 or the VSD3S?......the bass on the 3S is supposed to be tamed but it seems people in the thread are reporting differently....

Ok, so Vsonic's CEO seems to have finally decided to come clean and admit that they lack the production capacity. He kinda blames it on the rigorous testing of the units that is slowing the production but probably now with all the new models and different versions the lack of manpower finally has gotten out of hand. Apparently there will be only 800-1000 units of the vsd5 and only in transparent black and most likely not coming before the end of the year unless they decide to release them in small batches. No info on the vsd7 but I guess its delay is implied unless they decide to surprise us.

If they continue working like this,they have bleak future.

The market has become super competitive in last 1 year itself especially with likes of havi and kco6

If they had released just the VSD3 and the VSD5 in january,  they would have sold a lot of them.
The same of the GR09 or something like this, they would be the first to release a cheap triple hybrid IEM ( dual BA, one dynamic ), if they release it now, it would (maybe) be just one more triple hybrid IEM in the market, but I bet they'll never release it anyway...
 
They need to be faster, I've seen some rumors about one full-size headphone, I bet it will be released in 4 or 5 year...

Nah, they are fine. Most people are always hyped about their stuff no matter how annoyed and bothered they are by the delays. The reason Vsonic are so slow is because they can't manufacture fast enough and they've known it for quite a while.

Really? I think that I read something about that they aren't selling a lot of them on China, maybe things changed.
Anyway, now I will probably have enough money to buy the VSD7 on it's release day.

That will be too late,havi already have b6 in testing,sony after years of slumber has suddenly been releasing iem after iem,its another story that due to limited release they are fuc ked too.

I was waiting for vsd5 and 7 and lot who were have already got something else.

vsd3s is a mid level entry already bested by kc06 and havi based on reviews.

All in all a very good times for consumers

I doubt Havi or Ostry could compete with them, my B3 Pro 1 hasn't arrived yet, but with the comments and the reviews here, it's on pair with the VSD3/S, which is cheaper than the B3 (the same for the KC06). Probably the VSD5 will be better than them for the same price.
*Of course, the B3 will stay an option for someone looking for a flat/balanced sound.
