You can get SZ2000's from Amazon with Prime shipping now.

Damn.

Temptation...

And for less than $200 shipped.

Nope. The prices listed on the product page are misleading, because they do not list the shipping cost. If you click the actual prices, the lowest is $213.69 with free shipping, from one of the Japanese sellers. The one seller with "fulfillment by Amazon" has it listed for $237 with free shipping. The one listed for $192.86 has $29.48 in shipping fees, for a total of $222.34. That's from another Japanese seller and it says it "usually ships within 6-10 business days." $237 is a great price if it means not having to wait so long to get it!

Aaaaand there the E12 gave up on me after an impressive 10 hours active usage...Blue led flashing and only a pulsing sound coming out, if any at all. Busted I suspect...Back to enjoying my 1Ks unamped from the pc jack...

I just got a set of the SZ1000's and I love them so far. These are my 1st pair of higher-end headphones and I'm glad I took the plunge. Now to keep myself from falling down the rabbit hole...

Are you sure the battery didn't just run out? Did you make sure to charge it again?

I'm so spoiled. I see these (and the SZ2000) as lower-end headphones, price-wise.

Change those pads, amp the **** out of em and feed em lots of sub-bass via eq and you'll never let em' go.
You will still fall down that ******* rabbit hole but you'll always have these if you set em up right.

Well that sucks! You should be able to get a repair or replacement, if you bought it under warranty.

It does, major! Didn't even get to use it for music more than a few hours. Well, I bought it from Japan and it was a local friend over there who got it and sent it so it'll be convoluted getting it that way, hoping I can just send it to fiio or find someone here who can repair it.
