Some bad news
frown.gif
and some good news
smile.gif
.

Just heard that my uncle passed away last night.  Naturally, I'll be gone (or sporadically here) over the course of the next week or so.  Sorry guys, I know that Jude January is about to kick into full gear, but I don't have power over life and death (yet).

The good news is that, as promised, here is a file with a bunch of Judes in it:

It's a PNG with full transparency, so it's all cleaned up and ready to go.  Hopefully this will help everyone (especially Doc) make a whole bunch of avatars.  Looks like we'll all be leaning on you a little more than usual this month Doc.  And to anyone that's got any Shop/Gimp skills at all - if I could ask y'all to help Doc out - that'd be great.

Be back soon guys!  Have a happy new year!

I'm so sorry to hear that, Warren.

Definitely take your time and pay your respects. Real Life™ always takes precedence over stuff that happens at Head-Fi. Whenever you're ready to come back, we'll be here waiting.

And thanks a LOT for the Jude heads. I'll take a whack at doing something with them, and maybe It'll be good enough that I can help Doc out. Having these to work with is going to make it a lot easier. This isn't quite what I had in mind for my 1500th post, but somehow I think this means a lot more than just putting up "1500! Yay!" or something.

Anyway, happy new year, Warren! We're all keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest condolences Warren. It's always hard to lose a family member. Take all the time you need to recover, we'll go on just fine.

So with warren's hard work, I think it's high time I dredge all available GIMP and paint.net skill I have and 'shop up a real good poster for myself. *cracks knuckles*

Right after my exams...

Also, I forgot who wanted this, but here goes:

Remember, it doesn't have to be a complete head replacement... and re-using existing elements can often be hilarious as well.

Given the extenuating circumstances, if one of the 'shoppers/GIMPers could simply add a  small TMAC in white letters on the black background there somewhere, that would be great! It would at least be a start for the month.
