Got my 1Plus2.2 in party mode tonight, Spiral Dot tips, DX90 dual Sabre DACs and Carly Rae Jepsen. It's such an engaging hybrid, the detail is off the charts when you work it. With the DX90 it loses some refinement at higher volumes but you're so immersed in detail you don't care.. Its an animal of a hybrid! AnakChan's and my best kept secret IEM. (we seem the only members who have one) . Oh, and Kiats.

Honestly, I could travel back & forth demoing everything new on the market, for as long as I like.
 
Every IEM, player, amp, dac in this store till my ears fall off.

Really? I just PM'd Gavin to order it with another uBer cable. Keeping the uBer on the Ref 1 Too and the Plus 5. This will only get stock cable. I had to complete the Tralucent Trifecta.

I'm hoping he can hook it up with 4.4mm...

Pretty sure Crafty means another original 1Plus2, absolutely nothing wrong with that though if the case.  The fit is bit different on 2.2, the nozzles are shorter, stout. I will have a new source soon for 2.2, an iBasso DX200, I have not tested the pairing and hoping for good synergy.
 
The AK300 sounds nice but doesn't take 2.2 to the level they're capable of, particularly the mid-range. You have an extremely revealing mid-range IEM with a smooth relaxed mid-range source. Where you end up is somewhere in the middle with good but non-excelling music. My AK300 has also developed a fault with its volume wheel, needs to be taken for warranty.
