Owned a variety of DAC's DAP/sources, Cowon J3, Hisound Studio 3rd Anniversary, Dacport LX, HRT Music Streamer II+, Sony Walkman Z. The DX100 completely blows them all away with it's reference...
Before you read this, I think you should know that I'm not an audiophile and that English isn't my native language.
Let me start this on a positive note.
The design of Razer Tiamat...
Performance: Generally really well. Shouldn't lag at all with normal usage. Should be able to handle most modern apps. I managed to get around 8000 on Antutu Benchmark. Currently runs Android...
A few years ago I was a big fan of the Shuttle Barebone SFF PCs for LAN party gaming. I also was a big fan of surround audio for gaming. I had a soundblaster that days. But the graphics cards grew...
Good solid bass, not very impactful, definitely not for bassheads. Has a warmer feel, and is not very laid back. Also less colored than I would expect. Overall good, as I paid around 120 for...
I just checked the price of the RSA Hornet.... $370.00 lol. Pretty nice if a $250.00 amp blows it away. Considering it's on sale I think for $220.00? That's a steal of a deal :P.
Well I think the MK II sounds better then the Studio V. What I'm driving at is I'm getting tired of walking around with a large brick in my pocket. I don't mind doing it now and again but doing it day in and day out gets rather tiring after awhile. I will also say even though the MK II sounds better than the V it's not by much, The MK II surpasses the V in bass impact and smoothness. The V in it's own regard seems to have the better mids as well as more aggressive sound but I'm guessing the mids part is only because the MK II is using the iPod as a DAC. I'd like to one day hear what the MK II could sound like with a full CLAS setup behind it. In a few more days I'll do some direct A/Bing and try and post a final review onto digital paper.
Sounds good. Try doing comparisons between them as amps as well. Plug your ipod into the Studio and the RSA and see how you like both :).
Mediamonkey 4.0.6 doesn't have changing ID tag versions anymore.... Help!
I want to get a DX100 now but I'd rather get a Mjolnir because I love my LCD2s just so much more.
Why not use mp3tag? mp3tag is the best out there IMO and works flawlessly. Just set up the presets which helps you do most of the work on the fly (touch of a button or two). Just go with what you want more :P. Wouldn't be the first time I've delayed purchases for something I wanted now....
Yeah nothing I've heard beats my LCD2 in terms of tonality and liquid presentation. :)

The $1000 price hike is ridiculous in my opinion. I barely hear any difference.
Really? Did you have a competent amp to drive it to its full potential? I know this headphone along with the HE-6, W3000 ANV, & HD800 are all very hard to drive to their full potential/Synergy. I think a Zana Deux would do the trick. Until I'm filthy rich that won't be happening anytime soon :P.
GG I know you are curious to try out the Studio V 3rd ANV pairing. Why not talk with digital freak since he is in your area (at least in your country :P). I really enjoy it with my Tralucents with the 30 Ohm adapter. Make it where there is 0 hiss and the presentation is spacious yet intimate for me. Without the adapter there is slight hiss and it may be a bit too forward for my liking (@ times) with the Tralucents.
