Hello everyone, the name is A1945 and I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if someone could give me a description of what all the forum has and does.

You MUST leave here now.........

never mind, we need the fresh genes. :D

This place is a marketing and advertising tool with a group of audio nuts as citizens. Only one note, the search function is your friend.

Check out each forum to get the feel of how we break down our topic forums. A great place to get the feel of gear is to read the results of meets and shows.

Basically there are subforum's for every possibility in a headphone rig: amps/dacs/cables/headphones. Everything you need to know going from the music to your ears.  There are also sections for things such as organizing "meets", selling/trading off gear, and a "members lounge" where people just talk about anything.

Hello!

Welcome to the forums! I hope you don't have GAS (gear acquiring syndrome) cause it can get really expensive lurking around these forums.

About 6 years ago I came to the forums to look for some headphones for college. Then I drifted away from these forums for a bit, fast forward a few years later, I started to lurk again. And well.. I really dove into the hobby.

sigh, I shouldn't have came back.. but this community is too nice to stay away from

This forum has bankrupted me more than once, but I keep coming back because it made me acquire a lust for high-end audio.

Just remember to never buy things you don't have the money for. If you've got the money, go for it, but never use credit or the like.

That's when it gets bad.

Anyone who knows me will tell you, I HATE! credit cards, they bring nothing but trouble. If I don't have the money for something I won't get it. I also check multiple sites for the best price, Amazon usually comes out on top.

Not to mention when it comes to returns and going after crap sellers.
