Yes, I consider rb90002009 to be a very trustworthy seller, and these Reflektors are great tubes for the price. :)

2nd on this...

Any suggestions for a good amp and dac for the HD700 at about $400ish total? Mainly listen to genres like synthwave and was possibly looking for a tube amp that could give me some more or deeper bass.

Maybe a Modi 2 + Project Polaris or a Modi 2 and Vali 2?

Also could take some tube suggestions.

If you don't mind diy the Bottlehead Crack is on sale for $199 for one more day only that is $100 off. It is a good amp for the 700's but does need a tube change that will cost a bit more. Still a really great amp.

great choices, and as @buke9 noted the BH Crack is a great option at $200 but you will spend about a $100 or so on upgraded tubes.  A little outside your price range but the UD501 is on sale on Massdrop, its a good dac and the amp section works well with the HD700, its a touch on the warmer side but if you do expand your system it does do balanced out and paired with the HA501 is pretty impressive.

I'm rather enjoying my BH Crack and Modi Multibit.  I've also had the Valhalla 2, which has its benefits as well.

And as has been mentioned before, a Little Dot II (or III) is worth considering.

This^^

Had my LD II with Mullard EF92 and 6n6p for a few months now and I have no want to spend more money. Why change what doesn't need fixing? The sound is clear, warm and dynamic. Matching is the key in this hobby - not money!

got a used hd700 deal for $250, came with broken cable on right side, replaced it with new one from ebay. A bit loose headband. Okay-ish earpad.

Initial thought after first 2-3 hours; sibilance is definitely real. Unacceptable for any style with vocal. Any concert audio with sub-par recording will annoy the hell out of you with that sibilant hell
I have been experimenting with it for couple of weeks, My impression has been the same,"BUT" for ANY instrumental music, especially jazz and classical. HD700 is the one i would pick up over hd600 or 650 anytime.

What DAC and amp are you using?, a warm SS or hybrid/OTL amp work best with them, like the HD800 you need to select an amp that will pair with its brightness as most who own a HD700 will say the amp selection is important to the enjoyment of these headphones.

Seems those top peaks effect some and not others.. I'm also in agreeance that there's no other dynamic headphone can touch these this side of the HD800 for classical. And since dynamics are inherently better at portraying large soundstages and sense of air than Orthos etc. This pretty much means that the HD700 is the second best headphone in the world for classical music. :D

Yeah,I used Audeze deckard and JDS the element, then i tried tube amp, borrowed it from a friend,That didn't help. I would say it's still a great can though, just not for vocal
