I have to disagree with this.  The difference between my Shure se535's ($599) & my JH 16 Pro's ($1149) is quite large.  Soundstage really opens up on the 16's, obviously no where near cans, whereas it was almost nonexistent on the Shure's.  The detail on the 16 pro's is overall about 35% better than the Shure's, but in the low-end department you're talking about a gain in detail, clarity & dynamic range at least 50%, if not 60% better than the Shure's.  The only the things the Shure's win on is their mid-fowardness, because I am a mid whore.

From what I've read, the Shure's are considered to be overpriced.  So I'm not sure if that's a proper comparison.  Anyways this argument is moot because we have to take into account whether or not price is accurately matched with the product that is being sold and even then if "sound quality" can be quantified.

People always express opinions on SE535 without having heard them....so tiring. I owned 2 pairs and they are awesome. Not monitor like but musical and fun. And since the warranty is great, I think they are worth it. And I never paid more than 450 usd for a pair. The Miracles are worth the extra 500 to me, but that is because I can afford it...I think it is unreasonable if it represents half of your revenues...As for the 335, I need another listen to properly compare to see if they make me 2000dollars worth happy smily_headphones1.gif

Just got an email from Fitear. My MH335DW is on the way. biggrin.gif

It took them 20 days to make. My upgraded Go-Dap X is also ready for it.

Well said and I agree. I've had both the 530 and 535s.

Great VC...I so much wish to have someone compare them to other CIEMs. For Rudi they are the best. How would you characterize their sound Sig ?
And since you have the Kaede, how do they compare:)

Oh yeah, I would love to know more about Tera-Player with KAEDE v.s. Tera-Player with MH335DW for sure.

Next target for VC should be Final Audio Design's Piano Forte X-G IMHO.
