My 2 yen worth,

These are my thoughts from a very brief impression. To be honest I round it hard pressed to tell the diff between the 000 & the BTG cable. In terms of price, sonics, and ergonomic the BTG makes sense. It's not sonically better than the 000 but a $100 cable that sounds on par with a $300, it's a no-brainer.

The only thing though about that particular BTG cable (as that was the only one I experienced) was its durability.  It belonged to a friend of mine and initially one channel was partially cutting out. I was told recently that the cutout is now permanent. Possibly it was the rare odd case.

Meanwhile, I'm still on my 000 since I already have it.

Thank you AnakChan!
Always appreciate your input.

It is slightly bemusing that a top notch manufacturer like Fitear would compromise on its standard-issue cable. I'm glad the differences I hear are not that huge to justify an expenditure on my standard cables. Before I get lambasted, let me say that if you can hear the difference and feel it's justifiable to upgrade, I respect your decision. I just prefer to spend my cash on a second Fitear - that's all I'm saying.

This is pure speculation here but I think the cables are completely "Made in Japan". And if so, labour here ain't cheap, that may be why they're more expensive. Next time when I get a chance to ask FitEar, I'll check if it's the case.

A lot of consumers here (in Japan) still do take quite a bit of pride in having something that's completely made locally and would gladly pay more for it.

Nooooooo.  This means our wallets will be emptied again with our curiosity.

I know Audiophiles are some curious folks with deep pockets.  All three titanium bores??

Love the way it looks, it looks like a Gundam model piece.

This must be the reason why 334 went out of stock and probably not coming back, but with a better one(I'm guessing this is the improved one).

  what happen?!
I just feel the vocal go to the left side when i'm listening my 334's.
seems every song like that...

If you perceive it that way, it could be the imbalance in your 334 or the amp(the pot most likely), or psychological or your ears or the source imaging.  Turn the computer volume on the left down to balance it, it won't hurt the sound as long as you have the DAC set to 24bit.

bad fit (your ear blocks the path of the sound), or one driver is damaged, or there is a little something in the IEM (ear wax?), or you went shooting a gun all day and one ear didn't like it.

i clean IEM everyday...should be no ear wax in it. about the driver,if one driver is damaged should be more strange..?

also i let my friend to try my 334's,he said no problem with the vocal and didn't went to left side or right side either
but,if listen carefully and turn the sound highest,he felt the vocal went to left side a little bit

i ordered Ortofon ear pieces a few days ago, just wait for it and text it
hope it can fix the problem.

Actually, that was a known issue - I had it happen, Brian mentioined it was because an early run had the wires crimped at the connector.  They're now soldered.  He replaced my cable free of charge.

One more thing.  Check to see if you have good fit on both sides.  I don't get good fit on both sides for my CK10(left one is loose with deep insertion, but the right is tight with shallow insertion, which means the size of L and R are not equal) as my ear holes are not symetric.  One side is larger than the other so a set of tips may not fit well for one ear, which would cause the perceived imbalance in sound.

I'll be getting NT6 soon which is CIEM, which would solve my ear's imbalance in the diameter size of the canals.

NIVEBL, try out the large tips that comes with Skull Candy FMJ(stock not aftermarket) which should fit both ears to rule out the fit.  I really liked these tips since it seals both sides of my ears nicely.  Don't stick it in all the way, as soon as it makes a seal, stop and leave it since the silicone material has lots of friction to keep it in place.  If you stick it in too deep, the sound is not as clear as shallow insertion.
