The Jaycars, and the Phaiton PS210 BTNC were decent enough for sound, especially for a bluetooth gym IEM. Ever though about using regular IEMs but with the cables tied and a bluetooth dongle?

So now I'm browsing and looking for the cheapest GR02's, with taxes and VAT they end up costing like 70$.. Damn VAT.
Only "European" shop I've found that has them is http://www.headphones4.eu, which says the price has VAT included, but I can't find where they ship from, because if they ship from outside the EU it can be the same as buying from Ebay. Does anyone know if this site is legit and ships from within the EU?

Have never heard of them before. Might have to risk the VAT if you want someone more reputable.

Well, the only other sellers I can find are random Chinese/Hong-kong sellers, don't know how much more reputable they are, but the .eu site looks shady, don't want to pay double VAT, from ebay I at least know how much I'll end up paying. Any preferred dealers from there?

Lendmeurears (probably the most reputable). Frogbeats are also in the EU, but they only have the GR06.

Hey guys, I want to upgrade from Sony XB500s. I looking for something with a little more punch in it but I don't want to lose any sound quality. The source is an iPhone 4s and I mostly listen to dubstep, house, electro, Hip-Hop, and classic rock. I'm also considering using a portable amp, most likely a Fiio e11. My price range is 150-250 dollars. Thanks!

Duh. Sorry about that. Personally find the CAL! to be very good for indie, warm, smooth. Not the best build for portable use though. The Uptowns look pretty sleeky if I do say so myself, and great sound. Amazon price is a bit...err, over the top compared to the usual price you can find with these. On sale fairly often.

No worries, thanks :)
Portable is pretty important I guess. What is the Uptowns one?

PRO700MK. Gets a bit excessive for me like the XB500, but certainly worth looking into.  Also the HP700 for all that electronic, less bass, but more quality.

Last thing, for 70$ do you think something else would be better? Annoying having to pay +100% for tax&vat. I'm pretty amped on the GR02s, but if I could spend the 35$ on quality instead of giving them to the Danish officials that would also be a good option.

I don't see why unknown european sellers would be more serious than chinese ebay sellers, I ordered some iems and cables from shenzhenAudioStore, they're serious and I know some people ordered their Colorfly CK4 DAP from bigbargainonline (ProII) and had no problem with them. Vsonic is the brand name for international market, but you can find them under Visang, the name for the inner market.

Hi all,

I've owned a pair of Jays q-jays for the past ~18 months which unfortunately broke over Christmas (left earphone has lost sound). I have grown to like the sound very much, and find them really comfortable due to the small size.

I would be really grateful if anyone could recommend replacement earphones for me to look into for ~£50-£100. I listen to a huge range of music, and am quite a big fan of bass, and really liked the small size of the q jays.  I was a little disappointed with the build quality of the q jays so thought I would try out another earphone rather than re-purchasing.

Thanks!
