Well yes, but teeth are also something you are born with, and most people are born with teeth that function fine without braces. Hence the comparison between eyelid surgery and braces (both are fairly permanent moifications to the body for mostly cosmetic reasons).
 
That being said it is definitely true that culture plays a big part in the matter and I personally think that eyelid surgery is a bit more extreme then getting braces. :)

Just did the cost for P-T components, it totaled to $41.765
excluding PCB, RCAs, TRS, 2.1mm connector, Pw. Switch, Gain Switch, V. Knob and Case.
But TBH, it could be cheaper, the 7 trimmers costs $1.9 each, while at a local distributor in HK they only cost $0.8
I'm sure you guys can find them for less then $1.9 elsewhere.

Went to a Japanese buffet today. Was fckuing oishii!

We are just here over the weekend... Then on Monday we will travel up to Seattle to meet Miceblue. Then return to Portland Monday night and head out Tuesday morning.
No idea what to do tomorrow though. Probably go to Voodoo Doughnuts and Ikea since Atom has never been.
Today was just mostly driving. And Japanese buffet. See above :)

Yea. Clicked the video, closed it 2 secs later. They do actually have to poke through the eye to administer anesthesia. And well, blood was everywhere on my face. And don't forget the smell of burning skin. In the 21st century, we don't use knives to cut, we use precision lasers :3. But seriously, last year, they didn't give enough numbing agent, and i had to be injected again after feeling the burn of the laser.

Think you could order the 7 trimmers and include them along with the PCBs when you ship them? I'll pay you like $1 per trimmer if you can.
