Good luck with that. It's a good thing DVD drives are as cheap as chips.
Ever since I upgraded (and I lost my playlists from the SSD dying), I've been procrastinating about rebuilding my playlists. I used to have 20 different tabs in foobar.
I've got the same 5 songs playing over and over and over...
Well, it's more of a general statement about the current state of anime, you get the idea.
That's why I steadfastly refuse to reinstall windows. I looked hard and long for an ancient Phenom X6 so I can have a significant CPU upgrade without a motherboard swap (even if I had to swap the MB I would prolly have just done a repair install). After the CPU swap the guys at the computer shop did a spit take at how slow my computer booted and even took out the SSD to see if anything was wrong with it. Boy were they puzzled when they found no OS installed on it--I had just moved the windows swap file and photoshop cache to the SSD and set it to be a readyboost drive. coz I wasn't going to reinstall windows for a mere SSD either unless it's a Super Star Destroyer we're talking about
KyoAni does include fan service, and they do create moe characters on purpose. So what? Look around, everyone is doing it. And to be honest, KyoAni is one of the few that is not failing at still including a really tense plot with good drama and exactly timed comic-relief. The animation is top-notch. The character designs may seem a bit monotonous, but a lot of studios have certain art styles that keep popping up in each of their works. Cinematographically speaking, KyoAni makes incredible shows.
And even then, I can understand not liking them, but I don't quite understand you being pissed of at KyoAni in particular. If you are mad at moe, watch Western stuff. Even then you'll find that fan service is plenty, but at least it's less.
That's it. That's just it. Nobody does that for the kind of shows that I want. Nobody. SHAFT does have the animation prowess but they still doesn't do the kind of shows I want. And the moe fans and SoL fans have plenty to choose from, and at the forefront of it all, there's KyoAni. And I'm quite jealous of that.
Sure there's tons of books for the kind of show that I wanted; a grimdark spaceship-oriented sci-fi; but seeing what others can bring to life from that kind of thing is all the more interesting. I should just quit this and just watch SZS until I die.
It's fine... I think most of us have trouble, too....
Gah. What's YMMV mean? You mooch my virginity? :s I guess it's to be expected at the price... they're the only open phones in the $2-300 that are open that I know. Or at least the last time I checked...
AKG... wait no. Harmon should just die in a hole. Discontinuing the K1000 for the 70x series. Releasing the 70x series 4 times in 4 flavors.
There's plenty of other options for $200-$300. And you must have open backed cans? There's AKG, audio technica, beyer, and Sennheiser offerings in that price range (plus more that I can't remember.) What kind of sound signature are you after?
I personally went with the HD600, but it would depend on your sound preferences as to whether or not I'd recommend it. Though I am considering selling my pair...

Did you finish saya hat BTW?
Also, tonight marks the final night of freedom. Tomorrow, I have to go back to school. It was a great anime filled break, and I had some great conversations with some of you. You know who you are
I also spent all of my Christmas money on audio related products, which was something I'd never imagined doing...
And to keep this post on topic, I just finished episode 24 of toradora. It's been a very good anime. I like how they finally
Warning: Spoiler!(Click to show)
Set up ryuji and taiga's love, and how they're going to run away and stuff, although I do find it a bit extreme for ryuji to run away just because his mom started another job to support his college.
24 hours is kids stuff. My friend and I did something really dangerous and went 72 hours with LOTS of coffee. By the end of it it took almost a week to get rid of the mental issues we sustained.
Wow. That is a huge marathon

Hm... I think I might get a k/q701/2 soon for an open headphone. Bowei, do they give an out-of-head experience?
Edit: Weird to see a bunch of vietnamese names in the credits. lawl.
They have a few weaknesses. If you like bass, or have to pay full price then forget it

At least I know for sure that someone actually read it (fully I hope). Still it's kind of an achievement... ;-(

Decent. For a gag anime it's definitely above average, but still nothing more than cheap comedy in my eyes.
I am awake enough to keep the marathon going, but I simply fail to see the point in doing so. Perhaps I'll leave doing an epic marathon for another time. The thing is, in a mental state like this you also enjoy the anime less. Emotional reactions are suppressed, concentration is reduced, and memory is less good. Due to a large dose of caffeine I did reach a state of high awareness, but it's still difficult to concentrate. I have an increased heart rate and breathing speed, though still at normal rates. I also have a slight headache, and feeling of restlessness. Muscle ache on my arms and legs can also be felt.
On further introspection, when removed from outside noises I hear voices of the characters from the anime I have been watching today in my minds ear. I have also noticed that I seem to blink less often than I normally do. Slight stomach/intestinal ache, as if I ate something bad or need to take a dump real bad. I can feel my heart beat in my chest, though faintly. Normally I can't do this. I am also quite hungry, and crave junk food.
The symptoms are minor, but still they do tell me that objectively speaking it's best to go to bed.
My symptoms do interest me. I shall write these down somewhere, and see if I consistently get these results when staying up really late.
Good night my dear friends.
Ive had those moments where i record my weird symptoms too

I haven't. You have reminded me that I wanted to see it. This and the second Resident Evil CG movie. The first one was quite nice and the second one is supposed to be better... Edited by Accoun - 1/3/13 at 3:23am
