Really? They are mercenaries for hire(mostly) I find it pretty standard that they go where the money goes.

Except that they didn't really make note of the money, didn't care for the money that they didn't get paid for...and some other schiit

That's because they are still under hire.

I liked the "I like war and I'm fine with it coming back" part, it's a very human reason, and a very realistic one for someone who's had their livelihood and worth taken from them

That's lame. So you got what you ordered but it's all beat up? If you decide to have it exchanged or something, try to beat em up for some account credit, they usually give you like $20 or so.

Heh... What I got was beat up, and the replacement was beat up.  Honestly the shape of the replacement isn't quite as bad, but I think I'm going to send it back in.  I sent in Strike Witches because it lacked the dust cover... (Which was discarded since the Season 2 comes with a box set with room for the first blu-ray... oops.)  Maybe I'm being overly picky, but I digress.

On a lighter note... I'm note sure who here is following Ping Pong, but episode 4 is where the show truly comes into its own.  The Kemonozume influence really show up here.  Crazy and fun at the same time.

It just didn't seem realistic to me really. They weren't overly bad off.....and his decision on war came kinda out of nowhere.

They weren't overly bad off? They have to go foraging in the nearby forest for food, while others can just get their meal by paying money they earned from jobs that didn't require war-specific skills. They are pretty bad off.

They are probably more like mercenaries, and what other things that mercenaries excel at then at times of war?

Ahahahaha, to any other aspiring photographers out there, here's an excellent video on how to look more pro!

]In semi-related anime news, here are some Danbo photos I took for a photography assignment that was due today:

Did you get to a printer on time? XD
And since you're so pro, you had me as a personal assistant kinda. :p

[rule]I used some of those pro tips today at Pike Place Market like a bau5 and setup the tripod, 7-200 mm lens and cover thing. XD

Need moar photos of the moon, this time at the first quarter period.

^ how does a pro clean the camera lens?

and the Seattle Ferris Wheel

no really

and a ferry to Bottlehead

I didn't mention something but I think that this is a decent show of one of anime's case of surrealism.

In the sense that, Chaika's events and back story is situated very realistically but are 'shown' to the viewers comedically and with moe animation hidding the 'reality' which is why the 'bad off' and 'why they even followed her' are questions.

In reality, these answers are quite easy as you guys say.

They look very well taken. The danboard's textures are quite nice.

Thanks!

Yes I did, finally. Spent a ****ing hour and a half (and $6) printing three photos though. Stupid Macs and expensive printers improperly configured by liberal arts students should just die.
LOL, I'm more of a pro then I thought in that case! XD

You really brought the tripod down to Pike's Place at night? Didn't you feel like you were gonna get mugged at all?

Yes, I should post more pictures of the Moon route from Rewrite. Definitely.

I just use my 100% cotton shirt...
redface.gif

Probably some of those fancy wipes like Lugia uses though...

That ferris wheel might look really awesome with a long exposure if there are more lights on it than that.

It took 1.5 hours???? Your printer would print at least 30 photos in that time. T_T

Yup I really brought the tripod down....as well as my STAX since I made my brother do the review today due to nice lighting and limited time with the fancy DSLR camera. XD
I wasn't worried so much about getting mugged, but more that I left something behind because that would suck even more I think. Carrying around 1) backpack, 2) STAX, 3) camera bag, 4) tripod wasn't fun at all though especially in a crowded bus on the way back. >.>

Ah I see. I just blew onto the lens and the dust speck went away. :p

The Ferris Wheel would look cooler with a longer exposure, except I didn't feel like waiting another 30 minutes for it to get dark outside. I was hoping to catch the sunset....but awesome Seattle clouds blocked the sun as usual. I waited 30 minutes in an attempt to get a good photo and it was awkward as heck I was being a pro just standing around in the same spot with the 70-200 mm lens on a tripod taking random photos to look productive.

This series just loves to make you hate characters. Now I hate Nadeko (didn't really like her too much in the first place). These couple of episodes have been a pain to watch.

I don't like her either. Too annoying for my taste.

Nice shots, man!
The weather has been super bad for the last few days and I don't know what to shoot :/

I asking in a local forum for an alternative of sorts to my NEX-3 and got several the Fuji X-A1s. Most just said it's "better". :s

Anyone care to give a little input?

Hmm I heard the NEX-3 is marginally better. Better low-light performance. The kit lense of the X-A1 seems to be better though.

Can't say anything on "quality", but if you can afford to change ecosystem, then why not try? All I get back when I was researching for a camera was that Fuji and Sony both have expensive lenses, but Fujis are on average have counts of expensive quality lens compared to Sony's just expensive.

This is that one time where I wish our glorious country have camera/lens rental stores.
