Guys, i need some help.
i am wondering i should get the dx100 or ak100 for my 8A and 4A
Thanks in advance!

DX100 no doubt, the output impedance of the AK100 is reason enough on its own, but according to Headfonia, that's the least of its problems.

As Staal said, I have the DX100 and I'm loving the hell out of it with my 8.A!

The RWAK100 is an AK100 with the major flaw fixed... How about warranty?

heard will be covered by rwa. not quite sure on tt.
but most prob will go with the dx100.

I just did my impressions but I don't think the audiologist included the full helix. Who do I talk to in Heir Audio to confirm this via photos? No point in sending it out if its bad.

Here's the link to some photos of one of the molds. What do you guys/girls think?

So I am traveling over the holidays and I seem to have lost my 4.A's. I'm rather devastated but hold out a little hope that I might be able to find them...

Barring that lucky event, what are Heir's current promotions? I remember a few holiday deals running and at one point free wood for the 4.A. I'm tempted to go 8.A if the price is right.

Still hoping it doesn't come to that!!!

I e-mailed Sunny before almost a week ago and did not get a response yet.  I also tried calling the north american number but it goes to voicemail. I edited my post with photos of the ear mold impressions. I hope to get advice from fellow Head Fi members here who have gone through this process.

Be sure to read reviews, as I haven't heard the (RW)AK100 myself!

However, the DX100 is the only Head-Fi purchase over $200 that I can unconditionally recommend to anyone looking for audio Nirvana on the go. Sure, there are minor software bugs but the sound is spectacular.

I sent the pictures of my ear impressions to Bangkokkid before sending the real stuff out to CA but I haven't gotten any response back yet either.

I'm not sure who that is. If it's someone from Heir Audio, I'm sort of afraid to bug them. I can see that they get asked way too much about late IEM's and such.

Here's a link to the photos of my ear impression. Do any of you think it does not cover the full helix? I'm not sure what an impression looks like that covers the full helix which is why I'm asking. I have one photo of it right on top of my ear for easy comparison.

Please let me know...

Hi sorensiim - do you happen to have a photo of the dx100 next to an ipod? I am very very very tempted by the dx100 just need to get a visual idea of how bulky it is, i have the dimensions but a picture speaks a thousand words and all that

Thanks in advance

http://www.sizeasy.com/ - I use that tool a lot to get an idea of the relative size of an item.
