Hello! I am very happy to announce that Epiphany Acoustics, a small British hi-fi manufacturer based in the UK, are now official sponsors of Head-Fi.org. We currently sell headphone amplifiers but are looking at expanding into other areas of hi-fi (including cables) in an effort to offer high end hi-fi at affordable, real world prices. The first such offering is the EHP-O2, a portable battery powered headphone amplifier which boasts some very eye catching specifications. You can read the full press release below.

As I mentioned earlier, we are also looking at entering the cable market. We have a prototype cable ready and would like to see what your opinions are so if you are interested in giving it a demo and live in the UK then please get in touch and we can sort something out. The cable will be targeted at the £40 price level and a photo of it is below.

If you have any questions, comments or just want to chat hi-fi then please feel free to post in this thread or send an email to me at oliver@epiphany-acoustics.co.uk.

Many thanks,
Oliver Freeborn

The Best Things Come in Small Packages

Epiphany Acoustics are proud to announce the EHP-O2 portable headphone amplifier.

The EHP-O2 has been designed from the ground up to offer the very best head-fi performance whilst maintaining its portability. All the components used in this diminutive headphone amplifier have been exhaustively selected and tested to offer the user true audiophile quality and result in a THD of just 0.0017% and a noise floor of -105dB.

With the two lightweight rechargeable batteries the unit can be used for up to 8 hours and with the included AC adaptor/charger it becomes a very capable and compact desktop amplifier to boot.

The amplifier can be optimised to almost any headphone you choose using the on board gain switch and connection to your iPod and headphones is made via the 3.5mm jacks to keep the weight and form factor to an absolute minimum.

All in all this adds up to a very impressive bit of audiophile kit that fits neatly into your pocket and at only £100 you won’t have to dig too deep to own it.

Find out more by contacting us through the Epiphany Acoustics website at www.epiphany-acoustics.co.uk.

Hi Oliver, nice to see you here after lurking in the shadows.

Would you kindly update us as to the status of your desktop headphone amplifier, as this was withdrawn prior to release for revamping, but had superb technical specifications and had definitely piqued my interest.

Thanks.

The EHP-1 is on the back burner at the moment. I wasn't completely satisfied with it and then the EHP-O2 came along, which I am now focussing on. The EHP-1 amp will be looked at again sometime early next year, hopefully.

Hey, If i were to place an order know how long do you think I would have to wait, as i am sure you have plenty of people in line.

The next batch should be read by the end of January 2012.

When and where can I order the cables in the US? That thing is gorgeous and seems to be at a reasonable price.

I hope that the cables should be ready and in stock some time in February - just have to get a few listening impressions first.

Me gusta los cables. It's like what I wanted the Moon Audio ones to look like.

Cheers! :)
