I take it this is the older version?  It's straight from the U.S. distributor so everything should be cool.  I think I just found my new "beater" headphonessmily_headphones1.gif.

That's the Pro 80 version. There's only one. And that is a freaking great price. My god. Nothing can beat that headphone for $90! It's $200 new.

I would guess the picture on the eBay page is just the generic one they use for all DT-770s they sell.

As Beyerdynamic offers a 2 year warranty on headphones, I would think these refurbished ones would not be more then two years old.

As someone would not send to Beyerdynamic any broken headphones for warranty repair/replacement if more then two years old.

Might email them and ask what kind of warranty they offer with their refurb headphones.

i bought a pair early this moring.

i emailed them last night to check the physical condition

and set the alarm for 8 am got up read the email and purchased.

Great friggin price.

im gonna mod em.  ive alread owned them a year ago but that price man.  that price

Son of a bitch, I bought the DT-770 250ohm for $150 or so just a week ago. D'oh. Somebody jump on that, killer cans for a stupid low price.

i can also verify that this IS beyers american distributor.  I've emailed them before about replacemnt parts and stuff and the correspondence all came from @beyerdynamic-usa.com

Whoops my bad, it looks like those are actually the 80ohm model as well, but with 1/4" plug.

 

They mislabeled the resistance in the item description paragraph:

Haha, they're sold out. I was gonna buy an extra pair just to flip to someone for the same price to help someone out with an amazing deal so they're not missed if they didn't sell out by tonight. I'm glad some head-fi'ers got 'em.
