Apparently will be called CooL Gr07 or something in that line. It won't be replacing the current gr07 new versions, but seems it will be rather an addition to the gr07 line-up with a "cooler" design and so there will be the old design "pro"series and new "cool"series - don't know if being cool instead of pro will affect the sq. I'll probably pick one up when (if ever) released as I always appreciate a new design from vsonic. Also there will be around 10 color combos. Looking at the pics the cables look to be detachable but we'll have to wait to find out

Somehow these look less cool to me, but I am also that type of person who thinks the Sennheiser HD25 is super cool, so maybe in fact the less cool they look to me the cooler they actually are?!

I don't care how they look, i know i am gorgeous enough to make them look cool simply by wearing them. Still, good genetics aside, i do care about the new molds since they will probably affect the sound of these. If the new mold reduces or gets rid of the mechanical resonance the original GR07 were infamous for, i will consider them, only because they now have a detachable cable.

GR09 is coming... for reals!!!!!! Ok, a bit of an update of something a very long time in the making. The GR09 is finally about to be released - FINALLY. It's been 5 years since it was announced and we have a release date 31st of March this year. Full ceramic housings and carbon nano diaphragm.
The price was supposed to be circa $600 but Vsonic's CEO says that in order to thank the people for the long waited and force them (I don't need forcing at this price) to get one there will be a sale price, which is half of the MSRP or around $300. Now, I have no idea if this will be for a specific store but I hope that the international fans, who've also waited for years, are not forgotten and we will get the chance to get one at the same price.

$300 GR09 is more realistic, if Vsonic want to sell it. 600 dollars is unacceptable for such a brand.

Hmmm GR07 is what got me into this hobby. I am tempted to snatch a pair of GR09 even without auditioning it.
