Good?

Some serious bass slam and rumble on the startup, no?

Pretty much half of the song is just that haha.
Another good song for bass is Catacombs - Music Mi Luv, Infected Mushroom - Eat it Raw, and of course Zeds Dead - Mr. Sub

Also listen to Mount Kimbie's album Crooks & Lovers... rocks on these headphones! The artist sounds similar to XXYYXX

Saw someone's comment in one of the videos and I just had to share this:
"I listened to this while taking a ****.
Best decision of my life."

Has anyone had any impressions with the Jergpads recently? Is anyone planning on adding one when they receive theirs?

Digging Xenomorph ~ Hallucinatory Spheres today on the HE-500. Very dark and sinister trance.

Sun O))) - The Black one is certainly an experience as far as Drone goes. Enjoying myself some Evoken ~ Antithesis of Light now ~ Funeral Doom

Haha on the lighter side enjoying myself Eyelid Movies by Phantogram.

I'll keep saying it re: angled pads: the Q701 pads are easy to attached to the HE-500's mounting rings, and a pair is cheap, at least within the US direct from AKG.

Can you give me the link for the website where you found these? Thanks!

I got them direct from AKG in the US.  If you're in the US, contact Frank Rodriguez.

frank.rodriguez@harman.com

or call him at 818-920-3279.  Great guy, very helpful.  I paid $14.74 per pad, $7 FedEx Ground.

If you're not in the US, you can get them from Moon Audio
http://www.moon-audio.com/akg-k701-k702-earpad.html
available in grey or black ($7.50 extra per pad!)  Not cheap.  Other options are

http://www.headphone.com/accessories/headphone-parts/akg-k702-cushion--one-side.php
lists as black, doesn't give the part number.

I thought I saw them at Full Compass, but don't now.  YMMV.

The AKG part number is 2458M12020
