Well we are just under 2 weeks away from the meet and it looks like its gonna be a good meetup. Be advised we did shorten the hours from 12:00-9:00 to 12:00 - 6:00. We will be back from CES January 9th and will hopefully have some good news to pass on. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

I wonder how much room is still available to set up equipment?

My main source is an Origin Live turntable with OL silver tonearm, Clearaudio Soundsmith retiped Virtuoso Wood cartridge connected to a  PS Audio GCPH phono preamp outputed to Dare 2000A Tube Preamp which feeds a Woo Audio WA6se Headphone Amp. I also have a heavily Modded Grado 225's, and AKG 7001 Cardas rewired  Headphones.

This rig sounds really great, and even better with the Dared Preamp feeding my Wyred4Sound Amp and Definitive Technology Speakers.

If you have the space I will consider bringing the turntable, If it is a problem I can bring my Marantz CD player instead with the Dare Preamp, Woo Headphone, and Headphones. Please advise.

Well we are less than 24 hours away and everything is still on. All are welcome gear or no gear; you can be a novice or a guru. It doesn't matter. Some final directions for those coming the physical address is
300 Gulf Freeway N.
League City, TX 77573

If you are coming from the Houston area take I-45 South to the League City exit and U-Turn under the overpass. We are in the shopping center on the immediate right. Next door to Sudie's seafood. If the weather is good there will also be a white blimp flying. If you get lost or have a question the store number is 281-338-7768. I should be there a little before 12:00.

Look forward to a good turn out and getting to meet everyone.

Please undo my confusion.  From Houston, I take the FM518 exit, u turn under the freeway and take a right onto the feeder road going south, or maybe the shopping center is right there at 518 and the Gulf Freeway or ???.  Mapquest, after exiting the 518 exit, wants me to continue south down the feeder road, u turn under the freeway, go left under the freeway and come up going north on the feeder road and you'll be on the right before 518?  BTW, it doesn't look like the weather is going to be good.

Big Thanks to Matt and Sweet Spot Audio and More!  What a great store with lots of interesting stuff, including audio, of course.  These days, it's becoming rare to be able to go to a brick and mortar store and see and hear stuff.  Our patronage can help keep that alive.  I met lots of interesting folk and equipment and besides, I got to show off my own crap.  I was impressed by the DIY crowd.  I'm lethal with a screwdriver so I appreciate the skill and courage it takes to modify and/or build.  I hope we can do a meet again soon.  We had crappy weather but STILL had plenty of demos and peeps.  Thanks again!!!!!  I know pics will follow (I HOPE).

Had a great time, though unlike the Dallas Show, I was not impressed by any gear this time around to want to buy them. Other than that, it was a terrific meet. Sweet Spot Audio was fantastic. I never got to listen to the Setup they have in their Listening Room, may be next time. I still long to hear music in a good speaker.
