I totally made a thread and then completely forgot about it. Good suggestions though! I will look in to them.

The above song isn't quite what I'm looking for but is awesome nonetheless

Oh btw, angry doesn't mean unlistenable, and screamo is unlistenable.

Tristan und Isolde? You can't get more angry than the first act.

A tidbit that would've been good to know in the initial post. If anything, this would be a good opportunity to expand your musical horizons rather than limit your musical horizons based on (likely poorly formed) conceptions.

Rage Against the Machine.

Being loud and singing until your throat bleeds doesn't mean anything. Which rings true for a lot of "angry" music like Linkin Park or whatever. Not to belittle teenage angst, we've all had it, but RATM's music is on a different level of anger. Their music mainly deals with issues that plague the world as a whole, poverty, oppression et cetera. It has substance and tremendous emotional value that would surface even if they played it quietly.

The songs they (RATM) cover as well. Sailboat, well put. I had been considering posting similar if not identical sentiments since this thread popped up.
