A much cuter choice. The mirror finish alone will make her smile.

Yeah, make tight-fitting slip-on covers for the earcups, and that way, when she grows out of hot pink fur (or brown fur, or whatever), she can slip off the covers and have those still-shiny earcups to admire instead. That's actually not a bad idea!

Hope you can sew!

Alternatively, if you're worried about her damaging them, you could use HD 25-1. They could do with a little spicing up in the looks department anyway.

I want color coordinating slip covers for my ear pads!! Maybe with flash leds that you can change the color of too!! I'm sure we could come up with even more ideas...

Who needs LED's when you can use laser diodes? Implant some two-dollar lasers in the furry covers, and you're sure to get a few reactions from passersby (specifically the ones whose eyes are inexplicably assaulted by an intense red light as they walk by). "Borg"-reminiscent styling for the win!

I've seen this new line in the stores called ifrogz. Ugh, gives Skullcandy aesthetics a run for its money.

iFrogs and WeSc are both after a piece of the Skullcandy pie. Luckily, neither has an audiophile line... yet.

I've seen those wesc headphones. Are they any good? It looks like their "oboes" are open.

Ok finally got my hands on the TiTans (thanks, amazon, for the 2 week shipping

) that have been discussed at length a few pages pack. First thoughts: wow, there is a LOT of bass. It's decent, but definitely not nearly as good as the UE MetroFi 220 at this point. Not even in the same league quality-wise. They sound congested and the mids are metallic and grating. Really hoping they will clear up with burn-in, because right now they are closest in sound to my Q:Electronics IEMs. Also, I am hearing noticeable hiss out of my Fuze, which is pretty rare. The last earphones I owned that hissed this noticeably were the Altec Lansing UHP336.

I am glad that Skullcandy deemed it worthwhile to put Left/Right markings on these (which they didn't bother with for the Ink'd buds). Definitely going to give these the green light to my burn-in rig and then perhaps compare them to each of the other similarly-priced IEMs I own.

Apparently so - sensitivity is not specified (funny how the headroom specs page for them results in a 404) and they have a 16 Ohm Impedance. The abovementioned UHP336 have 115 dB/mW Sensitivity and 13 Ohm Impedance, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Sensitivity of the Titans is similar or even greater.

For anyone still subscribed to this thread: I promised a full review of the Titans a dozen or so pages back. It is posted here, for anyone interested.
