Yeah, sorry I couldn't immediately re-identify it when you wanted it later on in the day - I've got so much music I'll recognise a track but I'm hopeless with identifying the name of the track straight away (particularly when it's on a compilation of good tracks

). It was Touch by Christopher Hardy featuring tars, percussion, drums and marimba.

No worries dude, I wasn't all that helpful in my descriptions either

"Uhh, the one that sounded awesome!"

That was a 24/96 track, wasn't it? Hm, I wonder if a 16/44.1 version is available. I'd like to track down more material like that.

I am glad i wasn't the only person to enjoy this amp, on the day it shocked me, especially with the Sennie's. Plus, after talking to Mark about the price he paid for it from the manufacturer, it is an amazing amp and a steal for what you pay for it. It looks quality and sounds quality, with every 'phone i plugged into it. The dilemma i have now is do i put this amp on my Christmas wish list, or start pestering Alex K again for components and schematics etc for a home build, i thought his pre/headphone amp was absolutely stunning.

Come on, after 700+ posts you're more than a dedicated HeadFi-er now, Nick.

The answer is obvious.

Ah Zeph, you're more than welcome to next years meet. You would of loved it mate, the RSA hornet was there to bring back down to Earth with a crunch (it's the one amp i think is severely over rated), BUT then i could of duct taped you to a chair and would of forced you to listen to the sublime quality of of the SR-71. Next year champ

Indeed. Lol. But I've lost interest in portable amps aside from the Pico Slim. I need to concentrate on my home setup. My headphones are severely underpowered at the moment.

The Cambridge 840c is getting the ass big time.

Looks a mess, sounds incredible - I have an enclosure on the way!

That’s no good, Brian’s pretty good though - if there’s a stuff up I should imagine a very quick response.
