They're both good. Try ripping a couple of tracks in different formats, and then pick the one you like best.

I have to say I didn't like the supplied earbuds much, although the NC was pretty good. Using some UE super fi 3 at the moment due to lack of cash but thinking of some westones, maybe UM2 or the 3s.

1. I heard this device lack of high and more bass?
2. As coming from Ipod Touch and using Itunes, what the best software to do loosless format and is it mp3 or wav for Sony?

Thanks

#1 As in lacking do you mean "better" highs than the touch?

It has better bass response and treble and mids.

It only does WAV.

Yes, WAV.

Use whatever's easiest for you, WMP is fine if you're happy with it.

Screen protectors, I don't think anyone has one yet.

No, it doesn't scratch like the iPod.

Wav for lossless, but you can always playback MP3, AAC or WMA lossy files. Plenty of programs that will allow you to rip from CD to wav - dbpoweramp, Exact Audio Copy, WMP etc.

No scratches so far and I haven't applied any sceen protector or use any case yet...

Never use WMP to convert file, is it quite fast?

I thought you were talking about ripping the CDs, not converting the files.
