My new AKG K601's = Hectamento de la Chine (to my chagrin. . .no offense obviously)
 
Oh, and yes I know that is not any specific language above. . .simply an inside joke.
 
Email received from AKG Pro support after questioning the place of manufacturing:

Koss portaPro, made in China.
 
Maxell Drumsoundz, made in China.
 
 
Audio-Technica really gets my respect, as even quite much cheaper models are made in Japan as I know.

Does anyone know where the ESW9 is made? I don't see it marked anywhere on the headphones.

Interesting, I had no idea that Phiaton was from Korea, and even in-ears actually made in there. Cool.
