Hell the SRF-59 looks even better in black !!

Mines been well used and abused, the silver paints rubbed off and it's looking more than a little tired. But it works and that's the main thing, I've often been tempted to replace it but I'm yet to find anything better!

Brings back memories of me using my Tungsten E2 as a DAP a few years ago. That thing was really hissy and the screen whined really bad, but Pocket Tunes was a great piece of software. Between that, Dope Wars, Doom, Quake, and old Nintendo emulators, it kept me thoroughly entertained with one device. I'll have to dig out my E2 and revisit the old days. I also have a Sony Clie TG50, but can't seem to get music to play on it.

EDIT:

Dug out the E2 and was disappointed. It was extremely hissy, even with RE0's, and the SQ wasn't all that great. SQ itself isn't too bad, but the soundstage seems a bit narrow, though it would do in a pinch.

Found an ancient pic of my beloved Clie TH55... the only one left over from my decade of Palm obsession. Showing AeroPlayer with a BeOS-lookalike skin I made myself. AeroPlayer has a really good EQ compared to the phase-shifting crap that was in PocketTunes.

It gives me a truely reference SQ and a very nice workout without a gym. In the bag, there is a battery power supply for the DAC, and battery bac-up UPS feeding my Phonitor with a nice clean AC. My old trusty iriver h140 feeding the DAC as usual. For some strange reason people stare at me and I can't figure why... Maybe my haircut or something...
