Rudis amps seem to less popular on this side of the pond, and I'm afraid with the recent drop in USD that may continue. Still there are many reviews here and elsewhere and they do show up at meets occassionally.

Some of Rudis specs can get a little controversial, and I know of at least one member that refuses to listen to them because of that, but I say his loss as I'm very happy with what I hearing out of the NX02 and I'm sure it only gets better as you move up.

Too bad Rudistor doesn't have a distributor in Australia, that means I will have to pay import duties if I buy one.

Not if Rudi agrees to state the value of the goods at under $1000 AUD.

If I buy a Rudistor amp at the end of the year that's what I plan to do.

I guess that's the only option to avoid paying import duties, but sometimes customs miss picking out packages that are worth more than $1000.

A $1000

Our greedy little UK Government only lets us import £18 before they fleece us.

I think it used to be $100 before it got increased to $1000.

That's correct. One of the few decent things the last government did.

So Soundinista, have you ordered your next Rudistor amp ?
UK situation isn't good, the last time I ordered something from US ebay the total tax, vat, custom, courier fee etc ends up about 1/3 of the price of goods lol! Talking of seriously greedy!

My RP-33 SE is the best headphone amplifier i never owned. No doubt !

Sincerely i had thought upgraded (RP7-B or RPX-100) but finally i changed my mind. Why ? Because i am very happy with the RP-33 SE : Sound, punch, soundstage… A very good synergy with the DT 880s IMHO

However I’m curious : A lot of ameliorations with the RPX-33 EV8 ?
