I like the versatility a lot. I got one for the office and one for home. The one for home is going to be used for op amp rolling.

Me too! I ordered one and can't wait either! My op amp chips and parts I ordered to experiment with are arriving faster than the D1 unit in which they are to be used is. I have not heard any word from iBasso on shipping date. I hope it really does ship this week.

I'm still waiting to hear when they ship too, got my replacement one waiting to be sent :p

i'm now listening to music through my crappy pc speakers :'( tis a sad day!

I'm also on the waiting game as well. I just ordered 2 days ago.
I keep on telling myself to lower my expectation for this thing but all these hype are not helping me at all :) Oh well i just hope they are worth it.

It still says out of stock waiting for more enclosures parts to come in. Personally, I think they are fixing the reliability problems and bugs that have plagued the D1. Enclosures smosures, likely story. My credit card has already been charged through Paypal. So they are collecting interest on my money at this time! I hope the wait is not going to be much longer. If the wait time gets ridiculous (like XIN orders are), I will cancel and buy another DAC/amp product even at a higher price range. They did say to me that it was going to ship by this week. It is the middle of the week now. I was hoping that they would beat their time esimate and make customers surprised happy. But I guess not. Will wait this week out. Boy am I impatient when I want my toys.

I don't think I can wait any longer either. Might just go for a Move if I don't hear anything by Friday. Having never owned an amp before, I doubt I'd be disappointed with either.

There aren't a lot of home USB DAC + good HP Amps out there at this price range, why?

Which alternatives do you have in mind?

I do think this situation is a long way from the waiting times that Xin's customers tolerate.

I personally rather wait for a little longer rather than for them rushing out to send the amp and it turns out to be problematic but yeah waiting for something to come is not fun.
