I think the next get together will be in NYC in March for a weekend of The Allman Brothers Band at the Beacon Theater.

I sent an email to Eric Culberson's agent about playing a gig down here on Friday or Saturday night. There are a few of us that are considering fronting the money for the band and arranging for them to play at a place like Alligator Alley. We would get reimbursed from money taken at the door. Even if the band is available, we still have to find a venue. I will keep you guys and gal posted as I get new information.

I figured out what I believe we should do Saturday night. The Samples are playing the Culture Room. I am pretty sure Gene knows them since he has one of their albums on his ipod. I saw them in Steamboat Springs a couple of years ago. They are great. Let me know who is in and I will get tickets.

well...Im trying to work out something to make it down there. My gear is sadly reduced due to some financial difficulties (family illness, job loss, etc). But Im trying to get my D1, SR225 and SE420s down there. I might have to make it a same day down and back. Curious as to some hotel prices.

It is likely people will be staying at the Amerisuites in Plantation. I usually can get a reduced rate. I will check on it and report back.

That is correct, however, I assume you still have the music that was contained on said iPod. Meet Meisters making a mistake? I don't think so.
