After puzzling through her answer for a while, I think I've decoded what she meant to say, or was trying to say:
I personally believe that many Americans are unable to do so because some people in our nation don't have maps... a situation that is even more dire in countries like South Africa and Iraq. Our education system should improve, which would benefit the US, but we should also make efforts to export our education system to help countries like South Africa, Iraq, and Asian countries, so we will be able to build a better future for our children.
The critical connecting element that makes the whole speech hard to understand is that when she says "everywhere like such as", she means "this situation is as common or worse everywhere, and here are some examples."
I won't comment on the intrinsic irony of her desire to export the US educational system.
