If we go weekend here, then I can bring the MOTH/EC 2A3SI. And maybe the exciting new DM-1 or DM-2 or both, depending on whats here at the time. The DM-1 is in Calif, with Craig, for further mods (ohboy). The DM-2 should come back to me but I do not know when it will be done it's tour of duty. And of course the Denon2910 and the DT990's with the "Mini Rat Tail" mod , would be there. Also a special Re-cabled pair of Sony CD3000's w/"Mini Rat Tail" could be there if Eddie Rex PM's me and gets them done.

Wow, I am going to be in Cinci for a wedding on Saturday. If it's changed to then, there's a small-to-reasonable chance I would be able to make it. This would of course involve talking my wife into coming.

If I came, I would bring my MPX3 (maxed), 650/Zu, 990/"Rattail". Could also bring cdp/dac1 if there is interest.

All this of course, depends on talking my wife into it. (She has zero interest in hi-fi/head-fi

i should be talking to "he who controls rohs street cafe" in a day or two, but i don't forsee a problem, based on the conversations i've had with employees there. the only caveat is that we would need to get out by 5 or 6, due to the fact that the cafe opens it's doors for normal operation at 7:00 on saturday evenings. Mikey01, i'll PM you about that once i know whether i'm going to have a job for the summer or not (stupid University of Cincinnati squandering the money that's supposed to go to student workers on non related crap

). i do want to get that done. even if it does nothing else, getting a cable that doesn't tangle like a *&$^ would be a very nice thing.

bring the dac1, even if you bring nothing else, please. if i end up keeping my job, a dac1 is on my short list of things to consider getting.

If it's on Saturday, I might be able to make it for a few hours. Will continue to work on the wife. And if she finally agrees (it's her friend's wedding, after all), I'll definitely bring the dac1.

And you guys _have_ to hear the bass that these 990/rattail's put out!

Quick question:

My (soon to be) home rig is
Ibook -> ESI Waveternminal U24 (in the mail) -> PIMETA -> Darth Beyer DT-770's

I know these USB soundcards get a lot of hype, is anyone intersted in hearing it? Should I bring it along?
