Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Did you already try to EQ it with the proprietary app? If it works well for you, maybe you won’t even need a second tws. For myself, I’m really enjoying the FoKus Prestige with some very simple EQing.- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

The stock tuning subbass was great for me, but then I tried a modern r&b track and felt the need to bump it down -1 as well. Some frequencies might be great fun, but I suffer from a tinnitus case of varying severity, so I try to keep things as fatigue free as possíble.- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

I just got my Fokus Prestige yesterday and I’m really digging it. The stock tuning has too much midbass for my taste, but the proprietary app solved that in a matter of seconds. Great instrument separation and very coherent. Sub bass is really amazing and very clean. It is not the most detailed...- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

Did anybody here have the chance to listen to both the Triumph and the Prestige? I preordered the Triumph, but a few Prestiges are suddenly back in stock at Musictek and I’m a bit torn between them. I only have two weeks to make up my mind, btw. After that I’ll be leaving North America for months.- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

Just one more question: I suppose it is also compatible with the same EQ app used with the Fokus Pro.- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

I hope it’s not to soon to ask about the Apollo, but it will also work in USB mode right? In that case, will it still use its own DAC and battery? Really excited about this one, I think will be perfect for work and I love the only Noble product I’ve purchased so far (the KK).- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

I’m more of a subbass than a midbass guy, do you think the Prestige would be too much for me? I love the KK tuning, by the way.- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

The thing is, I’m considering doing a 180º as far as sound signature goes. But I really value instrument separation, the ability to handle busy passages and subbass. How do you think the AC performs in those aspects?- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

Is there anybody here familiar with the LCD-5? If so, how would you compare it with the AC? I know they are different kinds of gear, but I’d be very grateful if someone could talk about their respective experiences with them. I’m asking because I’m thinking of owning just a closed back and an...- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast

If I remember correctly from the manual, it can’t combine the EQ with crossfeed and stuff like that when processing larger bitrates. But if that is not your case, you’re good.- PrestonSturgesEnthusiast
