Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
I shipped my PulseSFi/LPS yesterday, sold off to a man in Israel. Good riddance crap company. I was one of lucky ones who got a functional dac, never faced a problem with it, but am still so happy to have replaced it with a iFi iDsd Neo. Lesson learned. Never trust a snake oil dealer.- kostaszag

Light Harmonic Geek Linear Power Supply (LPS and LPS4) Impressions/Discussion
Resurrecting this ancient thread. I have an LPS and wanted to use it as a USB-Power supply. Does anyone know how many Ampers is the USB power output? I want to power an ifi ican which needs at least 2.4A. -

Have you tried repeating the pairing with the Apple remote? Or simply manually reconfirming knob-control from the menu?- kostaszag

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
My Pulse Sfi/LPS combo has worked fine until now, with only slight hickups when changing sampling rates or when the remote loses its pairing with the DAC (it is easy to remedy but a PITA nonetheless). The sound is fine, no complains there, but I want to cut the connection with such an unreliable...- kostaszag

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
Thanks. The reliability issue is what really bugs me. I have been lucky so far, my Sfi is still working after all these years, but apparently this is the exception, not the rule.Who knows when my luck will run out? The item in question is on offer for 350 Euros, about $400US. Yes, the DAC1 came...- kostaszag

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
Can anyone tell me where I can download the 3.26.0 Windows driver for Geek Pulse? Not the firmware, just the Driver. I have a problem with sound dropouts for about a second every minute or two and Im afraid I will have to reinstall the firmware for it...- kostaszag

That would be my question too. I have a Pulse Sfi, works well enough, but I would like to try something newer. BTW, is there a new firmware for my Sfi?- kostaszag

Android phones and USB DACs
I have been using a Dragonfly Black with my P20 for almost 6 months. No problem so far. it works with all apps you can think off-UAPP, google play, youtube, HiBy, Huawei"s own Music App, you name it. I also tried it on a Desktop DAC, LHlabs Geek Pulse, and it worked too. Oh, and no one has...- kostaszag

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Hello Jason, I hope this question has not been asked and answered on the thread one thousand times already: have you ever considered selling the tonearm of the Sol as a separate product? It looks like good value-for-money to me and would look great on my current turntable. I assume that others...- kostaszag

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
I forgot to say, I already have a Pulse Sfi. It works alright so far but I am worried about what might happen in the future if it ever needs a repair and was considering a replacement.- kostaszag

I was wondering how Pulse Sfi might compare to a Aune X1S. I might be able to get one for a very good price and wonder if the change would be worth it.- kostaszag

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Hello Dann. I have been facing a curious issue. In Library I can't scroll down under the "composers" tab. All other tabs ,such as Artists, Album etc work fine, only under Composers the tab seems to be frozen at the first 8 or 10 names.- kostaszag

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
I have an SFi with LPS, works like a charm for the last 2 years. Only had problems when tried to upgrade to 2.4 F/W. It started making a strange chopper-like noise all the time. Downgraded to 2.0 and had no problems since.- kostaszag

You also might want to read the original post again. music4mhell wrote "he felt" neutron sounded more bright to his ears. This is a subjective observation that does not and should not apply to others. Who said anything about "metric"?- kostaszag

Yes, but if you actually want to listen to music there is no better instrument. Actually, come to think of it, it is the only instrument you can use to listen to music. If you are a human.- kostaszag
