Which are the best tips for the IE80's? The ones that give you more detail? I mean bass and trebles.

  From what I read there's a difference in sound detail between the two. IE80 wins. Know nothing about that thumping bass thing.

Are the M200 bass heavy?

  Are they really that bad with Hard Rock? I listen to it alot and am expecting my IE80's at anytime.

  EQu is the most poular, I think. And pretty efficient.

  Agree. But I always use really bass heavy music like EDM to burn-in my phones. I got the impression this speeds things up.   Time: 50 hours min. Depends of the phones.

  Just one more question: can one expect the same levels of detail and instrumental separation from the IE80s in comparison to W4 that you own?

Hi everyone,   Is it true that the IE80s have more detail than IE8?   Is it also true that these need 200+ hours of burn-in to open up?

  Forgot the IE8's, those are bass monsters, anyways I was talking about headphones.   I have auditioned the HD25 and did not think its a basshead can at all.     I would rather get the XB500 over the XB700. I've had both. Know nothing about the XB1000s though.

Does anybody know if the Sony XB910 is any better than the XB800 sound quality wise? Theres a $50 price difference.
