I am not sure. Phones and line out have an independent volume, eq etc control which I have used. The best thing is to search from the manual, which is massive btw. This thing can do so much!

Good question. Probably something to do with isolation and air pressure calibration. There was an immediate sensiation of ear clogging up when putting on the headphones with sound.

I have L300 Limited and they are amazing, after you EQ them a little. I *highly* encourage you to use EQ to tweak the sound to your liking instead of changing amps. Much much easier and cheaper way.

This is like comparing a kitchen knife to a swiss army knife with multiple blades - ADI-2 is so much more versatile unit. Soundwise both are stellar and in my opinon none of us can hear any differences between them. You should decide based on your needed use cases.
