Not sure if this was posted yet, but John is an excellent blues player. Not a fan of his studio stuff (other than his cover of call me the breeze), but his live performances are fantastic.  

Detailed + Forgiving + nonfatiguing?    Is this a real combination?   I liked the silky smooth mids and forgiveness of my Re262, but the detail of my HF5.   Unamped or with a JDS Labs c421, what are my options under $200?   Thanks

Thank you everyone for your help.   Mono it is centered. I guess most mastering likes to put the vocals slightly left. Eric Clapton's unplugged he is on the right side.   Another thing I noticed is that IEMs don't seal as well in my left ear as my right.

If I put the left earbud in my right ear and vice versa the vocals switch sides.

Used to my Grado RS2is and my Ety HF5s, would the Brainwavs B2 be a good choice?

I have Grado headphones and I like that sound because I listen to a lot of Rock and guitar stuff.   Would those be similar?  

I think I might get either the VSONIC GR01 or the Brainwavs B2.   Opinions?  

I'd also like to say I want to be able to wear them without putting the cable over my ear, because I'll be taking them in and out.
