Need to replace my beloved VSonic GR07 Bass Edition, are there any that are better/similar in the same price range?

Hey y'all, I happily settled on my VSonic GR07 Bass Edition couple years ago but they're getting old and possibly broken. The right side keeps cutting out. I need to replace them, I thought I would just get another pair or the GR07 classic edition for $100...but... Given that I've been out of...

Need help choosing IEMs bass oriented with decent sound quality

I would go with the GR07 Bass Edition.   While the X10 were extremely comfortable, sound-wise I wasn't impressed. The GR07 is a clear noticeable upgrade over the GR06, night and day difference. I think it's worth it.

Quote:   I would recommend the R1 over the M2. IMHO M2 are just too dark. They're just too old, not up to the current crop of best bang-for-buck iems. I would urge you to consider the GR06, they have the smooth laid-back sound, non-fatiguing and the best cord. The R1 have more bass...

    Vsonic GR06 lacking bass

The Gr06 just aren't bass monsters. The E6 by itself is actually going to make the bass punchier with slightly less bloat. It may even seem like a reduction in midbass. Using the bass boost of the E6 will make it warmer and the GR06 are warm to start with.   Use the amp as an amp and just...

Well, black friday's been pretty lame for me.    Too bad I missed the MEE cc51p on newegg. Would've been good cheap phones.  I wanted the black ones and I just found some on ebay, of course it's more than the newegg sale but are they still worth it? Has anyone tried them?

    Brainwavz R1 Review

Quote:   I'm gonna defend MP4nation on this one. It is quite common for iem's to change over time. Just to give an example, cosmic ears had to change their cable for their ciem's because their supplier ran out. Xears used to change the cord and tips all the time without any notice.  ...

Quote:   well...he's comparing them to the M6.    @badtrip unfortunately for you and fortunately for me, the burn-in took away some of the bass, especially the midbass settles down quite a bit.

    Brainwavz R1 Review

Quote:   Yeah, I agree. The GR02's aren't the most resolving. I think the R1's are a clear upgrade over the GR02 Bass. Initially, the R1 has a LOT of booming muddy midbass. These had the biggest change in sound with burn-in that I've experienced. After the burn-in, the bass gets toned...

UE 900 review, and why I'm a terrible audiophile.

Quote:   Dude, I hear ya. I had iems that I know to be superior on technicality levels but just couldn't stand them.  Sort of reminds me of some snobby 'dress code strictly enforced' restaurant experience. Yeah, the damn 2oz duck breast with fried green tomatoes and mango salsa was...
