Glad you are weathering it well Dude. There is no replacement for experience in a situation like that. You gotta let the automatic motor functions kick in and bypass the thinking brain in order to react quickly enough. Probably saved a lot of damage to the bike too. Keep the cheer up!- Maxtcc

Well ya gotta get back in the saddle, as they say! It does look like you need some new skins on that bike though. Especially, in rainy Portland. that is Oregon I take it. I have had some good rides around your parts, when I lived in Vancouver.- Maxtcc

Thank you for the clarity that you have both, wje and rhythmdevils, given in the last couple of posts. the 450 odd pages of this thread had obfuscated in my own mind where to start with my own mods for these new phones. Now if I can pick out those crucial items about dampening from the...- Maxtcc

Thank you. Now I understand what it is that you were trying to say. Definitely, I agree with you on this, even a version number would have been helpful. But in many important ways it ought to have had a new designation I think. Perhaps NFB-12 Pro, or NFB-12 adjustable. In many ways I...- Maxtcc

Wanted: DAC w/ adjustable volume RCA out
Well the NFB-12 can fit both your budget and your needs then. I am hacking a iPod synch cable now to see if I can get the audio out to the USB -b input of the NFB-12, but I don't know for sure if I can get digital out of the 30 pin port yet. I'll see how it goes. probably next week as things are...- Maxtcc

Need DAC/amp under $250 for DT880/ 250
As a further comment on the NFB-12 I am unable to raise the volume beyond the 10 o'clock position for the volume level is to strong for me so, there is plenty of clean sufficient power to drive the beyer's , the perception of the sound of course is subjective. But for this amount of money...- Maxtcc
