Does anyone know if it will output digital via the usb port for use with an external DAC? I'm looking for the most portable solution for writing with my bluetooth keyboard and listening to quality audio via my FiiO Alpen, and wondering if the Kindle Fire might do the job. 

I should add that the iPod Touch into my E11 sounds very good, but not a patch on the MacBook into even the E7, and that's the kind of quality I'd like to get into my pocket.
